Why did you decide to start this type of business?

I have grown yucca plants for a while now. I wanted to find a great use for them, so after some research, I decided to try out some soaps. Once I found the perfect recipe, I started to sell soaps. I also grow my own loofahs that can be added into soaps to make them exfoliating. After a few months of just soaps, I ventured out into scrubs, chapsticks, and even shampoo bars for your favorite pups! I am planning to launch shower steamers and body butter this month.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

I am a full time college student pursuing a degree in paralegal studies. I currently have one more semester left and then I plan to go into real estate or criminal law. Being a college student is hard on its own, but adding a small business on top of it can be overwhelming. I absolutely love making these products and hope you all love them just as much as I do!

What sets you apart from other businesses that people might support?

I think something that sets me apart from other soap businesses is that I use yucca. Yucca has amazing clarifying and antiseptic components. It also has been tested to protect against sun damage better than some commercial SPF’s. Along with these amazing factors, yucca is also high in folic acid and potent in vitamin C.

Do you have any other info you want to share?

I have Christmas baskets available now. They come with 1 scrub, 1 large soap, 2 small soaps, 2 chapsticks, 1 exfoliating soap bag, and a foot & body soak. These baskets are completely customizable and are $25 each. This is the perfect gift for anyone who loves self care. Colored soaps are also available and I have almost every color. I tend to leave these out in case people want completely natural soaps. I have a ton of options available. In the photos are soap bases, soap mold options, scents, scrub options, and QR codes.
