Services:

With the assistance of our local schools, teachers, and guidance counselors, we provide a bag of snacks each week for children in need to take home and have over the weekend when food may not be available.

Why did you decide to join this organization?

To help children in our community who have been identified as having substantial food insufficiency at home.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

We are very proud that we have been able to bring awareness to childhood hunger right here in Calhoun County and that we are doing our part to help nourish hungry children. We want these children to know that there are people out there who care about them and their needs, and above all we want these children to thrive and live their best possible lives. With the help of our volunteers and the donations we receive, we are accomplishing this and cannot thank them enough!

What sets you apart from other organizations that people might support?

For each child in need (as established by the school/guidance office), we take 7 snacks (including a protein, calcium, and fruit) in a snack bag and the guidance counselors give the bag to the children each Friday afternoon to take home and have over the weekend.

Do you have any other info you want to share?

Yes! If you want to volunteer or donate to this meaningful organization, please email or contact us at the numbers above. We typically pack the snacks each Wednesday around 10:30-11:30am.
