Products & Services:
We provide animal control, adoption, and rescue of dogs. We pick up strays and care for abused and neglected dogs. We provide spay and neutering for shelter dogs also.
Why did you decide to work for this organization?
All of us love animals, and we have compassion for them. Sadly, some of these have been abused or neglected, but with the public’s help and support, we can give them a new, happy life.
What accomplishments are you most proud of?
We feel honored to be able to care for these animals and find loving homes for them. Animals that aren’t spayed or neutered create babies who can suffer. The fact that the euthanasia rate has dropped dramatically over the past year attests to how well we are doing.
What sets you apart from other organizations?
Our goal is zero euthanasia, but there are sad instances when it is the only option, such as in the case of a very aggressive dog or one too ill to save. It’s upsetting when we have to do this, but sometimes we have no choice.
Do you have any other info you want to share?
We rely on donations of money, pet food, and time. We pick up stray dogs, so call us if you see one. We also accept owner surrendered dogs. In that case, the animal must be brought to the shelter and pay a surrender fee. We post a lot of our available animals on our Facebook page, so if you are on Facebook, please follow us!
